As Chief Executive Officer of The Lifted Legacy Foundation, I carry a deep commitment to honoring the brilliance, resilience, and humanity of our educators. This work was born from lived experience—watching teachers pour from empty cups, witnessing the emotional labor they carry, and understanding how profoundly their wellness shapes the lives of the students they serve. LLF exists because our educators deserve systems that affirm them, protect them, and invest in their leadership as a cornerstone of thriving school communities.
Every program we design, every partnership we build, and every space we curate is rooted in a simple but powerful belief: when educators are well, students flourish. Our mission is not just to respond to the challenges educators face, but to transform the conditions that create them. We do this by centering culturally grounded wellness practices, trauma-responsive leadership development, and community-driven solutions that honor the legacy of those who came before us.
